Number 13, i was tied with this and my number 12 it was close between both but decided to stick with how i originally placed the songs, so number 13 is a non single from Step One, Love U More, great song showing that Step one could have easily had another successful single.

Chain reaction, great! Glad it gave them another big hit. This one also could’ve been a hit outside the UK with some promo (or get a higher peak in Australia).

I do enjoy LYM! Prefer the original but I do have to say they made it their own and suited very well on their debut.

How wonderful to see songs such as Love U More getting a new lease of life on the tours.

Number 12 is the monster that is Tragedy, a huge hit for them and put them in the big league, i always remember that week it climbed to Number 1 as i totally didnt expect it and it was great to finally see them have a number 1.

Number 11 and just missing out on my top 10 is Last thing on my mind, on another week this could be as high as number 8 for me but for now it has to settle for number 11.

I also have to mention Bananaramas version which is where i first got to really like the song,

I will reveal my number 10 later tonight or tomorrow, my top 10 is made up of 7 singles and 3 non singles and are a mixture of old and new Steps.

Ya i have always enjoyed last thing on my mind and it was a good choice of cover at the time as Bananaramas version didnt do much and the song deserved more and to be fair Steps added what was needed and the rest as they say is history.

I've got a bit of catching up to do!

Chain Reaction was a great choice of song to cover and I'm so glad it made your top 25.

Love U More is one that's grown on me over time and I really like it now.

Tragedy is classic Steps and I love it.

Last Thing On My Mind their second Top 5 hit here in Australia, so it'll always be a song I go back to.

Last thing on my mind was almost as an important release as 5,6,7,8 and I'd say at the time it was a single that had to go top 10, that happening made everything more secure.

Tragedy, an iconic Steps song! I had a period when I didn’t enjoy this one but now I’m back to loving it  Happy this was such a hit, also outside the UK.

Last thing was ah important song in their career! Another classic, if only for that Speedo :claire: should’ve been higher in my own countdown tbh!

There’s a few songs I should’ve had higher too. Oh well, that’s how it goes.

Number 10, the one i feel really should have at least got top 100 as i think it was the closest they were in a good while, this is a great cover, pure feel good pop. Yes its the slightest touch, i love the original aswell but i think the Steps treatment really added to the song.
