I actually can't believe the One Republic track has been added to the big playlists which shows it's not some sort of discrimination against the soundtrack. Her label really must do better.

It's not her label's fault, it's her team's fault, aka her manager, and that's become pretty clear as I Ain't Worried, by an act that's under Gaga's same label, was added to TTH today.

 

Also, I don't get how Easy On Me or Bad Habits aka a 2 year old single is still on TTH along with songs from Z list singers and forgotten fads like One Republic but Interscope can't put her biggest artist aka Gaga there.

 

The fact that One Republic's soundtrack song from the same movie has 90M playlist reach while HMH has only the half is embarrassing.

 

Her team is useless!

Top Hits playlist already having an impact. It's so simple: get it on playlists and it climbs massively. :rolleyes:

I use Apple Music and on the UK version of that I still can’t see Hold my Hand on that playlist but Gaga herself has posted it’s on there on her Twitter?

 

Maybe it’ll come onto the UK one at some point (or I’ve missed it :lol: :lol: ) is it a different playlist in every country so it might be on there in some territories and still to come in others? I think if it goes onto that playlist here then it might climb into the top 50 region as it’s usually somewhere between #65-75.

 

In other news I’m happy at the UK position this week. Still optimistic that the peak is still to come but at least it didn’t drop in position which is what I expected at the start of the week with the jubilee impact and I overestimated Posts album too.

But I am very disappointed with the TTH situation as well, like everyone else. Granted, I Ain't Worried is more of a "Spotify friendly" summer vibe kind of song, but HMH is clearly more popular in terms of AM/Youtube/iTunes/Amazon, so that is a weird choice.

 

The new Halsey single is on TTH but Demi Lovato's latest isn't, so I don't see any logic there either, and I don't think there is any tbh. It's like they just pick them randomly (and never remove the old ones no one wants to hear lmao)
