It used to be Robbie Williams who would dominiate the christmas season sales.

Now it's Take That, bigger than they ever were before.

Who would have guessed it?

If Robbie had've released a normal pop/rock album and promoted it would've been the best seller I'm sure, or even Swing. Im sure if he releases another Swing album next Xmas it will sell hugely again. Personally however, I think he needs to take a break as he has been working non stop for a long time -_-

Remember last years Intensive Care sold over 1.4 million in 8 weeks. Sales have fallen alot this year so it seems :(

This looks set to be TT's best selling album in the UK. Here are their other albums sales in the UK ^_^

Take That & Party: 600,000

Everything Changes: 1.2 million

Nobody Else: 600,000

Greatest hits: 900,000

Never Forget: 900,000+

So they have already outsold two of their 3 studio albums ^_^

Sorry about the triple post. I was experiencing technical problems.

Funny you should say that, but Robbie Williams has announced he is taking a break from the UK and going to live in America for a while.

Yeah Take That are as big as Robbie used to be. I'm sure Robbie will come back big again as you say.

plus there is alot more left in the album also,if they release 3 more singles the album could hit 1.3 million plus by the time its promo is completly finished

I agree. Because their success, Shine will be a big deal to the radio stations and probably go number one.

If A Million Love Songs duet with Leona as seen on the X-factor was released as a single, that would have to go number one too. I bet you that a studio version will be on her album.

So whenever Leona or Take That fail to get a number one, all either of them need to do, is just dig that one out for their next single!

Bought it today and wasn't a fan before.Good album,especially Shine,really stands out.

It took 152k for Sun/Mon/Tues, so 50k a day and likely to increase as Christmas gets nearer.

So 400k is possible and 1m total by Sunday

Hope so....how amny ahve they sold now altogether including this weeks statistics.....? :)

I reckon Take That will sell in the region of 330K - 350K this week.

The underwhelming sales of Robbie Williams "Rudebox" album is this year's biggest mystery to me, especially as it is a brilliantly varied album with at least 5 or 6 (The 80's, She's Madonna, Keep On, The 90's, Viva Life On Mars & Summertime) songs better than anything on his previous album, the very dull "Intensive Care".

Personally, I think it is very sad that all his fanbase seem to want is the same old stuff rehashed over and over again (The Queen syndrome © The Word magazine), instead of something varied & different.

How much has the ultimate collection sold so far? :)

TT Total sales :cheer:

This weeks will get counted at the end of the week, and added to the above total.

If you ask in the above link I just posted, someone might know, as I haven't got a clue

Take That's new album Beautiful World’s sales were up 15% last week to 229k

With their X-Factor Final appearance

Including a duet with Leona

Plus the Christmas-rush boost

Plus Leona mega-sales further boosting traffic into record stores

Can Take That sell 300k copies of Beautiful World this week?

To do so, it would take a 31% week-on-week increase. :o

nah, it wont do 300 K

220k max

Going to disagree.

Easily over 300K. Over 400K not impossible.

With Never Forget Album sales and the Patience single I reackon total Take That sales this week could just about approach half a million.

You are so so so so right ! Rudebox is such a great album !

With Swing 2 on the way I don't know how many singles he's releasing...

IC was such a big hit outside UK. And he's working on a more guitar driven album for 2008...

im still so surprised by the low sales of rudebox i was sure it would really get high christmas sales,im sure he will want the next album to be huge especially with take that doing so so well
