Posted December 18, 200618 yr So, 2006 almost over and its about time the token 'i think these will be big' thread is started.. so, Obvioulsey Leona will do well in 2007 - the most talented x-factor winner to-date. Kylie to make a return...but i dont think she will be as big... More Lily Allen types - Not sure who though - any thoughts? Discuss
December 18, 200618 yr If you would like to place a link please put it in your signature or your profile rather than placing it on the forums please. ;) Welcome to BuzzJack by the way. ^_^ Mariah Carey is set to return in 2007 with 2 new albums too, so I predict good things for Mariah. :D
December 18, 200618 yr I think R&B is going to make a comeback next year, especially with British acts. i wouldnt name names just yet, but I can see Regina Spektor really breaking through, and hopefully Kaila Yu can cause a storm! :D Also Shakira will be big next year, albeit not her own material. Duets with Alejandro Sanz, Beyonce & Wyclef are sure to keep her in the spotlight ^_^
December 18, 200618 yr Dear lord, Norah Jones will be back?? Probebly Dido will be the best seller. U2 will most likly be the biggest selling band with their new studio album due out next year as well ^_^ Not sure if Britney will be anywhere near as big as before myself. Michael Jackson's comback album is something I cannot wait for myself B)
December 18, 200618 yr Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be back in the first sector of the year with a new album. I'm confident she can do better this time around than she did with her last album, but I somewhat doubt she'll match the success she had with Read My Lips. Kylie's return will be HUGE, the media have been hyping her comeback up for months, even when it was just in the recording process.
December 18, 200618 yr As in new talent I think that Mika is gonna be huge. He's a one man version of the Scissor Sisters and the British public seem to love the SS so I think they'll like Mika as well.
December 18, 200618 yr I'm not sure if Whitney will be big, I mean yes it's a hyped return and all, but look at a similar hyped return in Janet Jackson... Also I hear Usher will be back next year, as is Shayne Ward. ^_^
December 18, 200618 yr Oh and Avril Lavigne, Kelly Rowland, Kelly Clarkson, Amerie and Ashanti shall be returning.

December 18, 200618 yr Hey Sorry.. i didnt realise you wantred links in the bottom.. It's no problem you're new, no harm done. :D
December 18, 200618 yr I don't think any of the really established acts will be very big next year - especially Mariah and Kelly Clarkson. They were the it girls of the last couple of years and they'll probably have high first week sales but unless they have that kind of anthemic song on there they'll just fade out pretty quickly. I reckon it will be someone who has had hits before but isn't really in the big league yet - like Nelly Furtado this year. Jack suggested Natasha Bedingfield and that's who my money is on. I'm looking forward to Dido's new album though :D :D
December 18, 200618 yr I'm looking forward to Dido's new album though :D :D Im certainly not, overatted bland piece of shit
December 18, 200618 yr I'm sure and I hope that Gareth will do very well next year :cheer: Also, I think Kylie will make a very big return too :D

Also i really do hope mariah comes back (biggest lungs in the world) i am not that sure on Sophie-ellis baxter though  i don't think she could cut it, sorry :P
