Posted December 18, 200618 yr Kylie 'too busy' for Glastonbury Pop star Kylie Minogue will not make her long-rumoured appearance at next year's Glastonbury festival, says organiser Emily Eavis. "It's not going to happen," she told BBC 6 Music, adding that the singer had "a lot of touring up her sleeve". Earlier this year, Ms Eavis's father, Michael, said he was "really hopeful" that Minogue would perform. The pop star pulled out of a planned appearance at Glastonbury in 2005 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She returned to the stage in Australia last month with her critically acclaimed Showgirl Homecoming tour. Dannii duet The final date of the Australian leg took place in Melbourne on Sunday. The previous night saw the singer joined on stage by her sister Dannii to perform the hit single Kids. The tour hits the UK on New Year's Eve, starting a run of seven dates at Wembley Arena, followed by a further six nights in Manchester. But Ms Eavis says Minogue will be too busy to join the Glastonbury festival in June. "I think if she was going to do Glastonbury, she'd rework her show and I don't think it's going to be possible in that time frame," she said. She also denied that The Killers or Muse would make headline performances at the festival. "We've got really good stuff coming in. But there's not going to be dominating headliners," she said.
December 18, 200618 yr It would have been nice. I do hope she will perform at the Diana concert but that will be unlikely now as well :(
