Sorry for the delay of posting but xmas presents had to be bought and wrapped.

Anyway here's who went out in the last round and the final positions:

15th - DANNI MINOGUE - SO UNDER PRESSURE

14th - SHAPESHIFTERS - INCREDIBLE

13th - BEATFREAKS - SOMEBODY'S WATCHING ME

So unfortunately in the last round, both all around and the world and Positiva both lost their only tracks in the final 20, all I can say is roll on next year for them both.

We're down to 12 now, so who is going to make the final 10 then, you can decide by once again voting.

PLEASE GET VOTING ONCE AGAIN,

TAW

p.s. This time since Bodyrox was very close in going out in the last round, I'm going to vote for Bodyrox to ensure it gets into the final 10.

You're saying vote for your favourite, and I voted Beatfreakz last time and some had 0 votes yet they stayed :manson:

I'll vote for David Guetta V.S. The Egg - Love Don't Let Me Go

I'm not calculating it, a computer calculates it with all the votes from other areas.

Thanks for the votes so far, the final 10 songs will be announced shortly.

p.s. It was very close in the last round between Bodyrox and Beatfreaks anyone of these 2 tracks could have gone out.

Oh, sorry

Didn't realise there was votes from other polls

Unlucky to lose both those 2 though, both good songs

The original full list looked far more pop/chart based than Dance based, though, it must be said - and even now there's some true horrors in the list that wouldn't see the light of day in a dance club (about three quarters of the ones who are left, actually).

I can only assume it isn't promoters and DJs who compiled the original list - in fact, it doesn't even look like a list compiled by people who ever even goes to dance clubs....?

I would say a large fraction of the ones remaining are deserving of the great dance choons of the year that crossed over mainstream. What sort of clubs float you're boat russt?

Trade, Nag Nag Nag, Orange, Fabric, Ghetto, Heaven, Bump (Bristol), Fruity Antics (Bristol).... quite a few, really.... anyplace where I wouldn't have to endue Sunblock, Justin Timberlake and Scissor Sisters to be honest....

And crossing over to the mainstream isn't what dance is about at all - the Dance Recod of the Year should reflect the music being played in dance clubs throughout 2006.

This list doesn't do that at all.

Yeah but this one is more about dance songs that had chart success. Why don't you start your own poll about dance songs you think deserve to be called Club Record Of The Year, maybe that will be more up to your sort of thing?
No Russt, these tracks don't reflect what you are into on a more personal basis. Like Skizzo said, more initiative (and less bloody moaning!).

No, ScottyEm...this list DOESN'T reflect in ANY way what's been played in dance clubs in 2006.

I suggest you visit a dance club and maybe then you'll be informed enough to comment.

Thank you.
