December 19, 200619 yr I've read that GA are only 1.300 copies behind McFly (#3) and 200 copies behind #5... but does anyone know if the singles lower top10 are far behind them? Could they be overtaken?

December 19, 200619 yr Author MTV News: In its first two days of release, the X Factor queen's tune, 'A Moment Like This' has sold almost 90,000 copies. Take That's 'Patience', which has been holding the top spot for the last four weeks, has sold 15,000. But we're sure the boys will be chuffed for their new mate Leona, who they performed 'A Million Love Songs' with during Saturday's X Factor final - and they can console themselves with the fact they'll get the Christmas No 1 album. Sales of their comeback long player, 'Beautiful World', have soared so far this week, shifting almost 100,000 copies already - double the amount Westlife have sold of their 'Love Album'.
December 19, 200619 yr Surely there must be some rule that excludes overly-hyped singles from the chart. It must be counted as chart-rigging? well that could exclude all the top 75 come Jan  and can we include records that are played 92 times a minute on ken bruce/and /or this morning in that overly-hyped category.
