December 20, 200618 yr i'm already bloody sick of ****ing christmas, it's such aload of $h!t and very very depressing.
December 20, 200618 yr Christmas is TO commercial -_- Still, I love christmas, it's all about the presents :P
December 20, 200618 yr I am still not in the christmas spirit, far too much work on, might start getting into it more when I finish work on Friday and have 11 days off
December 21, 200618 yr Didn't they find proof that he did exist though? The Turin Shroud ? that was about as real as the WW2 bomber the Sunday Sport found on the moon
December 21, 200618 yr Christmas is just a good excuse for people to have a small break in the winter see friends and family and have a good time. Am playing devils advocate a bit here but surely people should see their families during the year and not just over xmas and they should have a good time all year and not just over 2 days or whatever, I have an excuse as I have family scattered all over the country and it is hard to bring them all together but families should be for life not just for xmas bit like a dog
December 21, 200618 yr I don't see it as an excuse to see family as I hate most of them. But yeah, if you only all get time off at christmas then maybe that's the only time you're able to see them?

Can see where you are coming from there but the xmas references to family etc reminds me so much of Valentines Day where millions of gullible people are conned into buying cheap tacky overpriced presents as a show to their partner how much they love them, if someone loves someone they should show it EVERY day not just once a year.
December 21, 200618 yr Easy to say that but people don't show it everyday do they... Well they should if they love someone, I just don't see the point in buying a few flowers on one day a year that will be dead in a couple of days and some cuddly toy with a heart on it etc just to show someone that you love them, people that are in love should show their love for each other every day not just once a year, I am way more anti Valentines Day than I am xmas lol
December 21, 200618 yr Each to their own I guess lol but I don't think I ever bought a Valentines Day gift for my partner or vice versa when I was in a relationship when Valentines Day fell
December 21, 200618 yr Author I am still not in the christmas spirit, far too much work on, might start getting into it more when I finish work on Friday and have 11 days off you spend too much time online m8...lol.. youd get far more work done if you werent here all day!
December 21, 200618 yr you spend too much time online m8...lol.. youd get far more work done if you werent here all day! lol look at my post count for the last 3 weeks I have gone from about 12th in the post whore chart to barely making the Top 50 I need regular breaks from work otherwise I would go insane so I try and devote 10 mins every hour of the working day to non work activity
December 21, 200618 yr that alone i find hard to understand... after all, if there was this bloke walking on water, performing miracles etc dont you think that it would be headline news on the day!! not 60 odd years later!! that in itself must discount the testimonies as fabrication. to put it in perspective it would be the same as us now writing about what happend in the second world war with NO mention of it before!.... There wasn´t internet, TV and not even newspapers at that time, and most of the population didn´t even know how to read. The 60 years later "news" were actually based on previous stuff since they coincide in most of their content. The World War II was different, cause it directly affected millions of people, millions died, not just something watched by a few hundreads or thousands uneducated jews. We also don´t have enough proof of the existence of Buddha, Sun Tzu, Plato, and many other important names in human history. Back then it was not like today, when you just do a home made porn video and a reality show and you have your name registered in thousands of magazines and newspapers.

People work, study, travel, etc. I have a big family and they live in different parts of the country, so far that it´s almost as if they lived in another country, and it´s impossible to keep everyone reunited the whole year. We have 1 date when everyone reunite on my gramma´s house, guess when... Plus, I think it would be kinda boring if we had these family parties during the whole year, people need a normal chilled period on their lives too.

No one makes ludicrous claims on behalf of Sun Tzu or Plato though do they..? Last time I looked, whole religions didn't crop up based upon them... Bottom line, Jesus may have existed, he was probably an anti-Roman religious leader, a freedom fighter, more like Che Guevara or Martin Luther, certainly NOT the 'son of God', the 'miracles', the 'Virgin Birth'? Rubbish... He was an ordinary bloke who did something extraordinary (ie, forming an anti-Roman resistance unit), and I have no doubt that he married and raised a family, for a man living in that culture at that time it would've been totally alien for him not to... But of course, merely having a normal human doing something extraordinary aint enough for the 'Catholic bloody Church', so it concocts this fairy tale....

Acording to sources, Sun Tzu was born old already. This is tough to believe in. The thing is, Jesus is believed to be God himself by christians, so if he made the whole universe, matter, atoms, and stuff, to have walked on water must have been easy like that. If it was an alien thing not to marry in the jewish culture, it doesn´t matter, because he made it clear he didn´t gave a **** about the hypocrit jewish culture.
December 21, 200618 yr I saw the topic title and KNEW who started it before I even came into the forum.
December 21, 200618 yr he made it clear he didn´t gave a **** about the hypocrit jewish culture. Well, then he woulda been stoned to death if he'd done that, before the Romans were able to Crucify him.... Sorry, it just doesn't wash with me.... Doesn't the Lord's Prayer say "Father, Son and Holy Ghost/Sprit"? Father being 'God', Son being 'Jesus' and Holy Ghost/Spirit meaning the risen Christ....? It's what I was lead to believe anyway.... As for Sun Tzu being 'born old', that probably isn't meant to be taken literally... In Japanese culture, old age is equated with wisdom and experience, so it can probably be interpreted that Sun Tzu was wise beyond his years....
December 21, 200618 yr Well, then he woulda been stoned to death if he'd done that, before the Romans were able to Crucify him.... The gospels have a few passages when people tried to stone him... It's what I was lead to believe anyway.... These are said to be 3 persons under 1 God, they are all God, but not 3 different Gods, God knows how... As for Sun Tzu being 'born old', that probably isn't meant to be taken literally... In Japanese culture, old age is equated with wisdom and experience, so it can probably be interpreted that Sun Tzu was wise beyond his years.... But how can anyone be born wise? How can a baby have wisdom? And why would a heavenly sent want to be born old and miss all the fun of being a kid and a teenager... Edited December 21, 200618 yr by Janet Jackson´s Nipple
