sorry to post again lol, 4got to add something i thought leona was sellin take that out to like 20 - 1 or something daft like that? mikey in all honesty do u think theres any sales missing? does it happen alot cos when an artist someone liikes isnt sellin as well to be expected ppl always say "all the sales must not be added".

Not sure, but the tabloid papers did not help one paper says different from the other, but 20-1 was a load of bull from the press, just have to wait it out until we get the MW sales report, later in the week, or next week.

 

P.S. Sales info are not guaranteed tomorrow been Xmas Eve, and obviously everybody (well practically) will be off Monday & Tuesday.

seeing she has sold that much off physicals over 2DAYS ... and friday kids broke up so she will have sold around 150k and then on sat ... just before xmas she will have sold around 200k that will toatl up at 650k and i think it could have sold more on sat and some sales are missing So she will be on course for selling the same / more than

"Leona Lewis is set to clinch the Christmas number one spot with over 100,000 copies of A Moment Like This downloaded.

 

The X Factor winner's debut single has become the fastest-selling download of the year and industry figures suggest she could sell 1 million copies, beating Shayne Ward's Christmas sales last year.

 

HMV spokesman Gennaro Castaldo said: "Leona should match if not overtake Shayne Ward's sales.

 

"Nearly 5 million votes were cast for her in the final and you have to assume a good proportion of those viewers will buy the single in the run-up to Christmas.

 

"Not everyone has an MP3 player so there will be a lot of people heading for the shops today to get their copy."

 

X Factor judge Simon Cowell has tipped Leona to make it big, beating the curse that has affected most recent TV talent show winners.

 

Gennaro also believes she could prove a long-term success.

 

He added: "Leona has the potential to become an international star. She has the look and the voice of an American R&B artist like Maria Carey. If she is managed properly and given the right songs, she could be the real deal."

Gennaro Castaldo is only speaking for HMV, there are other stores to consider, he seems to be talking about HMV.
