Hey Guys - most of you know our SORRY/FRIDAY NIGHT single is out tommorrow in 2 formats - a 'tour' dvd and a 'christmas' CD with 4 christmas cards (one from each of us).

 

However, there is another way you can make a huge difference in how our singles do. As stores have been carrying less singles, downloading has become very important but its not easy for many of you.

 

The answer is in the UK you simply text $h!t to 81330 - its only a pound and the label does not even retain the info. THIS COUNTS AS A SINGLE SALE FOR THE CHARTS! If all of you just texted once each single, we would always have a good chance to be number one.

 

However, we don't just want to ask you to spend another pound - we want to work hard to give you something great each time you do it. We are making home movies for each single that are only for everyone who orders the download.

 

This time we had someone travel with us everywhere for 5 days to shoot a week in the life of Mcfly and its great. It took a lot of work but if because all of you are such incredible supporters we want to do everything we can in return!

 

We hope you all can get into the shops to get our single - the tour dvd format is great and so is the christmas CD with the 4 christmas cards - but either way, please just text $h!t to 81330 once. You can redeem the song download starting tommorrow - but you can watch the 6 minutes home movie immediately. If you are not sure how to do it, there is a temporary first page on our website with instructions of where to go to see the movie.

Its the third single form the album so they shouldn't expect to get a number one with every release.

you allowed cards girls aloud did with something kinda ooh.they are just having a laugh plus five colours and obviously sold over 100k and they don't expect number1 all the time.before you go slagging people off get your facts right have you actually heard the album motion in the ocean its a really well written album

Heard McFly singing War is over on Radio 1 earlier. I was very very impressed, I say that as someone who dislikes McFly in general, but that version is perhaps the best I've heard. Total class, they clearly have some talent.

in some ways i won't them to stay at 3 just to carry the trend of singles from all 3 albums have gone 1-1-3 so far

yes it has its done 135,000 copies so far.i know people are allowed opinions with in reason you cant say mcfly have no talent at all and iknew they won't be number1 anyway im not botherd just want them to beat last years xmas single(number 9)

I don't understand why they're doing this as no-one can compete with the X-Factor winner. The best they could do is #2.

 

That said, at least they're offering the fans something extra for the text money, which is more than can be said for Leona (£1.50 for one song!)

Ok, that's still a flop though. 135,000 in the 3rd biggest market of the world is a flop.

I doubt they will reach 200,000, and even if they do, that wouldn't make them big sellers.

exactly you never know what the next few weeks mcfly sales will be its a shame mcfly didn't release in the summer like normal and actually before the arena tour like they did before
