  • He's been on par with Chelsea's Robert Sanchez this season who is also shockingly mistake-prone for a 'top' team. At least they've had the foresight to kick him out of the team (even though the backup

Cancel that top 4 aspiration I’ll be happy with finishing top half

Must admit, did find it a bit weird how everyone was getting giddy when Man Utd had beaten Everton and Bodo/Glint. Thjink Utd will be lucky to make the Top 7 this season.

Amorim's team selections are absolutely bizzarre and his messaging to the media makes it seem like he thinks the squad is nowhere near good enough. Which is hilarious when you think of all the money spent!

The money has been spent mostly on absolute dross though so he's still correct. Can't say a single signing has justified their price tag for a very long time now.

Just still baffles me the supposed "football" men went out and spent £200m in the summer on Ten Haag's players to then hire a manager who plays a completely different style.

Ashworth now sacked  The gift that keeps on giving. Wonder when the Glazers will get blamed!!
Pretty sure they paid Newcastle millions in compensation for him. No idea what is going on at the club but Glazers and Jim Ratcliffe are not the ideal people. Ticker prices now extortionate. Sacking tons of low paid staff. Treating the women’s team like 2nd class citizens. Just creates a bad vibe

I thought the comments Ratcliffe made about the rationale for raising ticket prices was such an insult. Raising prices mid-season is such a ridiciculous move and the justification being "oh but Fulham is more expensive" is so shit bag, especially when he's begging for public investment for a potential new stadium.

Yeah it’s hard to get behind a guy who has such an emotionless view of decisions like that. Man Utd’s income has never been the issue, it’s the waste of money on absolute garbage combined with still paying interest on debt that shouldn’t even exist + inflated wages. Punishing fans/women’s team/low paid staff for this is just the totally wrong way to go about it. I do think the manager is the right one but the rest is so messy still

He’s a hard to like with his knighthood and tax haven in Monaco while he cuts back on the poorest paid at the club. The Glazers will be happy though, still own 70% of the club but let him take the media attention!
Such a shame when you consider his fairytale start, could have gone on to become a club legend but the history books will look back at him as only a slightly better version of Lingard.
Yeah exactly. He was always potential but he never improved really. Same player he was at 20 and his attitude and salary are both a big negative.
Well they need to find 100M to spend on the next past it has-been. Bid for Neymar next summer incoming...
The fact he basis himself in a tax haven makes it even harder to stomach!
I am really impressed with Amorim so far. He isn’t beholden to any player at all. The system allows anyone to come in or out. I’m sure there isn’t a quick fix but I can see Man Utd being title contenders next season. Tbh Chelsea are the only team that long term look pretty solid
