  • He's been on par with Chelsea's Robert Sanchez this season who is also shockingly mistake-prone for a 'top' team. At least they've had the foresight to kick him out of the team (even though the backup

Amazing that this fraud has been awful forever and it took VAR to get rid of him

Ruud van Nistelrooy will take charge of the team as interim head coach, supported by the current coaching team, whilst a permanent head coach is recruited

Hopefully Ruud does well

Now watch the likes of Rashford and Bruno pick up their tools again in the very next match...

I know, says it all about their mentality and personality though

Ruud to be the new Solskjaer, exceed expectations and be given a 3 year deal

Surely Ineos need to be getting more stick here? Terrible decison to keep him in the summer and an even worse decision to not sack him during the October international break. Sounds like a group of people who have absolutely no idea what they're going. Not even sure who has total accountability within that footballing structure either..

Yeah if it's gotten to the point where you're basing the manager's fate on the result of every single match then you might as well have pulled the trigger way before.

Presumably they did want to sack him at the end of last season irrespective of the cup final result but as we know couldn't find any better candidates in their eyes so just thought he would do until it suits us to sack him.

Ruud definitely has more about him. Still a big job from just PSV but got more optimism about this one

Yeah I've seen a fair amount of Solskjaer love from various sites today, even some saying we should take him back. Sure he did well to steady the ship and we played some of our best football post-Fergie under him but the fact that absolutely no-one wanted him after he was sacked shows how lowly he's rated as a manager in the football world.

What RVN needs to focus on is getting our strikers to actually score goals, something he knew a thing or two about!

Seems Amorim is the target then. When will they learn? Could have gone for him in the summer when he was angling for a move. I'm sure Neville will paddle the move he rejected Liverpool again, don't think this is true.. seems Chelsea, Bayern and Liverpool all swerved on him other concerns his style would transition to a top club.
Honestly I would be quite happy with him too

Would end up being very much like Mourinho/Tuchel. Think he'd make you hard to beat, but goals would be hard to come by looking at how Sporting play.

Hes a good manager imo, wouldnt like the prospect of Gyorkores following him

He’s a good manager for sure but you had Liverpool, Bayern, Chelsea, Barcelona all have vacant managers positions in the summer, and he was known to be on the market as shown by his trip to meet West Ham! So it just seems strange Man Utd didn’t go for him in the summer.

Wouldn’t worry too much about Utd signings.. think it’s shown they just buy the wrong players  Yet to be convinced this new footballing structure actually has a plan in place imo. Almost seems like there are too many decision makers.. reminders me of the fabled transfer committee under Rodgers!
