so far i'm still trying to gage an opinion on the record...

 

it's either trying too hard to be a inde-pop cool era (similarly to 1989) or its absolutely fantastic... even though its sonically quite pop, it's her least poppiest effort really.

In comparison to folkmore, folklore was performing like midnights is at like 7pm (and still only 2 songs top 10) and evermore had 6 songs top 50 around 2pm (1 top 20, 2 top 30, albeit there was 700 xmas songs around)

Hits different is a BOP. It’s kinda giving me poppier Fearless vibes. This should’ve def made the album aha, I wonder how long it’ll take for it to be uploaded to streaming (the folkmore bonus tracks were both about 3 weeks later). But the folkmore were bonus tracks on all physical editions whereas HD is a target bonus track so maybe it’ll be more like 1989 (when they hit streaming around the end of the year iirc)

theres MORE bonus tracks? christ... i guess maybe 4 more will total 24 songs and thats technically midnight

Hits different is the only new one on the target edition! (The others are sweet nothing - piano version, and you’re on your own kid - strings version)

Sweet nothing (piano version) sounds basically identical to the original and is pointless, and you’re on your own kid (strings version) is slightly less pointless but still doesn’t feel too differential from the original to ever go back to that version

I forgot about the bonus tracks which will come on the Cd?!

I'm not sure many peoples' have... and even HMV are having stock issues for the album due to supplier. Presumably all record shops too. Amazon have delayed their shipping times to early November for some people as well. Total mess from Universal UK. :angry:
