Bahaha! If it hits, it'll hit!

I'm currently obsessing over 'Labyrinth' rn. Giving major 'epiphany'/'The Archer' vibes and I lovvve it.

Have you seen the lyric video? Kinda drags you into the song even more

And likely lacking most if not all of yesterday's streaming data!!! :cheeseblock:

there is a bit of peace and harmony seeing a popstar beat the arctic monkeys really

I think it’s a shame that the AM haven’t got a #1 with such huge opening week numbers - maybe they will later.

Insane numbers. If you’d have told me a week ago she will cross 100k I would’ve laughed - these numbers are absolutely unbelievable

I’d love for her to cross the 200k mark but feel she will probably end somewhere in the 180k-190k region..

Let’s see the affect the second video release has tomorrow. Guess it depends on how good it is and what sing it is !

So good she’s on track to the get the double #1 in the uk

Finally got a dispatch email for my vinyls about an hour ago! Two people I know also got them today

Great! So is the sale only added on once the album is dispatched? Like it doesn’t get added when ordered? I’m asking because I haven’t received an album yet and wondering if the physicals number will increase once all the pre ordered albums are dispatched.

I believe so yes! I remember this happening during the Red TV release - around the Wednesday mids she suddenly went up by about 25k overnight when her store dispatched a big batch of physicals, so I'm pretty sure they're only added to the sales total once dispatched :yahoo:

I can't say I'm the biggest Taylor Swift fan in the world, honestly, my first album was Red (Taylor's Version), minus of course hearing her biggest hits everywhere.

I was honestly addicted to Red (TV) and couldn't put it down. I watched the SNL Performance live on TV and gave Folklore, Evermore and Lover a listen and was amazed. It's been hard to find a Taylor Swift song I didn't like.

So of course, with Midnights, I stayed up and listened to the album the evening of the release. It was the first Taylor album I had the fortune of listening to right with everyone else.

I haven't been able to put Midnights down, but I hear a little bit of every album I've heard so far in this album, and then some.

I'm sure Friday Night was like Christmas for most Swifties. I felt like I was a part of something at the same time as everyone else. But, no, unfortunately I was dead asleep by the 3AM Edition launch - but it must have been SO AMAZING for those who stayed up with their besties, gave a few spins, expected to goto bed and NOPE.

Taylor has been so generous with her music, I feel full even with Midnights, Folklore, Evermore, Lover and the two TVs so far, but I cannot wait for more.

I think the challenge is going to be holding off on listening to the other albums that don't have Taylor's Versions yet. I'm ITCHING for Reputation and 1989.

My next task is to make a playlist with all the Taylor songs that make me feel *shiny* somehow (talking about Labyrinth, Bejeweled, mirrorball, gold rush), I just get a rush of calmness with these songs. Taylor honestly does have the best fans as well, everyone I've interacted with has been so amazing.

Awww I love this post!! Haha

The original Red is what made me become a fan 10 years ago now. Can’t believe it’s been so long!

Nothing wrong with listening to her stuff that doesn’t have a TV yet btw - it’s not frowned upon, we have no other choice unfortunately

Bejeweled video out tonight??!!

Just seen - love!

I had a feeling there would be a Bejeweled video filmed, the snippet vid had lots of bejeweled-esque outfits!

I think had I listened to Red fully 10 years ago, I would have become a hardcore fan. Big miss on my end

I still need to revisit Evermore, Folklore and Lover more. So much more to discover, I think I’ll be able to hold off (hopefully!)

Top 5 (so far) on Midnights: Lavender Haze, Maroon, Bejeweled, Labyrinth, High Infidelity

Lovely post Aaron! You’re very welcome here ! Great to hear you’re enjoying Taylor’s music. Looks like you’re getting Bejeweled tonight to start that shiny playlist!!

Red is my favourite Taylor album and always has been  as far as Lover goes, Afterglow is one of my favourite songs of hers of all time.. it’s quite slept on and I don’t understand why!!!

I hope we get ‘Hits Different’ on Spotify soon. I keep hearing it on tiktok :(
