Posted December 20, 200618 yr The Sugababes and Girls Aloud have teamed up for the new single for the 2007 Comic Relief. The song is titled, "Walk This Way," a spin on Run DMC and Aerosmith's 1986 hit, featuring a combination of Hip-Hop and Rock. The Sugababes will represent 'Hip-Hop,' whilst Girls Aloud will represent 'Rock.' The single is due to be released in March 2007. Sounds slightly cheesy Edited January 21, 200718 yr by Simon
December 20, 200618 yr haha knew it! oo the Run DMC version, So it might be that the Sugababes do the rapping and Girls Aloud to the singing, Steven Tylers bit Dunnow how it will work and sound though, and they better not murder it, it's the best Hip Hop/Rock songs of all time  Woulda been easier if they dont the original Aerosmith version though, would sound ALOT better -_-
December 20, 200618 yr yaaay I actually cant wait for it now  It's one of my fav songs ever
December 21, 200618 yr I don't like the way each band is representing a different genre, particularly as they're nothing like their actual genres anyway -_- I mean, Girls Aloud = rock? I don't think so
December 24, 200618 yr i don't think we'll see any rapping   I almost have a feeling of what it moght sound like now
December 24, 200618 yr Author i don't think we'll see any rapping   I almost have a feeling of what it moght sound like now Sugababes can 1/2 sing and 1/2 rap it I suppose :o
December 24, 200618 yr Author I think Good To Be Gone has been cancelled so it might be because of this single Also, the fact that their 5th studio album is due to be released as soon as it is ready, and they're apparently hoping for a summer release like with AWDF
December 24, 200618 yr SO this duet single will fill the gaps in between everything which is a good idea

January 17, 200718 yr earlier than i thought, video should be out before too long then,. aww i want candyman to be number 1 but i dont think it has a chance against this, im sure ill love this and want this no1 also, hmm..
January 17, 200718 yr Author Well Enter Shikari are meant to be another big breakthrough act for 2007 and other songs will probably be added to the that date before then
January 19, 200718 yr I think the toughest competition for them will be Nelly Furtado! Anyway, when do we get to see the video?
January 21, 200718 yr As you should know by now the Sugababes' next single will be a duet with Girls Aloud and will be the official Comic Relief 2007 single, with all proceeds going to charity to help people in the UK and some of the poorest countries in the world. The single was rumoured to be a cover of Walk This Way previously recorded by Aerosmith and Run DMC. This rumour has now been confirmed (see below). There is also an unconfirmed rumour that the b-side will be another duet - a cover of Wicked Game which Girls Aloud had supposedly recorded previously but never released it. Last month both groups' official websites asked for fans to apply to be in the video, which was meant to be shot last month but was cancelled at the last minute. Now it seems that the eight girls were not able to make the same video shoots so three seperate shoots have been organised. The Sugababes will do their bit one day, Nadine and Sarah from Girls Aloud will do their bits another day, and Cheryl, Nicola, and Kimberley shot their bit yesterday. spikeyroberto from the official Girls Aloud forum was at the shoot yesterday, and gave this account of the video: Well just got back from the filming of it and only 3 of GA were there..Kimberley, Cheryl & Nicola...The song IS Walk This Way and we got to hear the end part of the song and it sounded very good! We later found out Sarah and Nadine are on holiday and will be added to the video later by digital effects?? Sounds very strange. So we got there and all got ready in a big room while the 3 girls were doing solo shots and stuff next door and we waited AGES until we could go in - the director was the american guy that did The Show video and was really friendly and the video is like a catwalk and the girls walk down it and there is a mic hanging which they grab and then we presume its thrown across and sugababes will be on another catwalk we think so the mic goes back and forth? We were to the left of the catwalk just as a crowd dancing and then at the end we had to throw soft red noses up in the air onto the catwalk while the girls stood there!
January 21, 200718 yr Author I think there'll also be some celebrities in the video, to show suport for the cause
