According to Deniece at VH1, Mariah was chosen to be honored at the 10th annual Gala for the VH1 Save the Music Foundation! Current plans are for a tribute show where Mariah would perform as well as other artists. Kelly Clarkson has been one of the mentioned names. All of this is contingent on whether or not Mariah's schedule would allow for it. The gala is set to take place at Bryant Park in New York on September of 2007.
