So x this be 3 & you've got his total worldwide album sales of ~45m, as recently reported in your source. So it's probably about the same UK vs ROW rate for singles : so ~5.450m singles now sold in UK x by 3 = ~16.350m singles sold worldwide (~10.9m outside UK). Then this = ~61.350m total worldwide record sales...& so pretty close to the 60m total also recently reported in your source. I hope he is right ^_^

It's not hard to believe really. I mean nearly 5.5m singles in the UK, meaning over 10 million outside. Sounds reasonable enough to me :drink:
