the problem isn't the website, it's whoever is in charge of the tickets and shipping and stuff. THAT's what they need to focus on.

Bored and uninterested ? I just interpreted it as him being tired.

Well, it's hard to please everyone. Maybe he shouldn't have recorded that message at all, if some people take it like ICR did. Seems like he can't do much right at the moment.

Personally, I still think it was lovely. But maybe I'm just being naive or being distracted by the fact that he looks adorable as he sits there talking. ^_^

I'm also naive and distracted, and I'm sticking with the IS, I'm scared to miss something good -_-

Oh good, Sabby, then at least it's two of us

I've watched the clip.

I'm not sure to be honest. One part of me thinks 'Awwwwww. Robbie is lovely. He really cares about his fans. And he's been so busy this past year. I forgive him'

The other side of me says 'His record Company have put him up to it as they know loads of fans have been really pissed off with the website and probably are thinking of cancelling their subscriptions. So right on cue (at renewal time) we have RW wheeled out to give exciting details of 'Plans' for the future. Plans which are so vague we can't even get an inkling as to what they may be'.

But yes, I will be paying my £25 this time as well. I try to see the good in people and I believe him. But if it doesn't improve next year I'll seriously reconsider. :arrr:

and then he will be doing another little clip next year and we will say awwwwwwwww cute robbie we forgive you :P

How about for starters-

- Remove whatever programme they use on the Official Site which causes a multitude of warning messages on my PC ( Warning- this programme will cause bla bla blabbety bla to run slowly. Do you wish to abort?). Then my PC totally freezes and I need to reboot. (And I have a bang up to date laptop btw).

- A Blog update every now and again. And a blog that includes some stuff other than Robbie's search for a mate and his sex life.

- Some 'exclusive content' that I haven't actually seen days before elsewhere on the Web. For example, an interview Robbie gave to an Australian journo was posted on the O.S. about a week after I'd posted the same interview (in full) on BJ.

- New videos previewed rather more than a couple of hours before they are screened on normal telly anyway.

- Could the shop prices at least be competitive (if not discounted?). Why pay £15.99 for a CD on the Official Site when I can buy the same thing from Amazon for £7.99? Oh and the postage rates are ridiculous.

- Robbie News to be posted on the O.S. first rather than after it's been in every Tabloid and on every Fan Site.

-Competitions with a closing date more than 2 hours from when the E-Mail is sent out telling us about it.

- Articles, Tour Dates etc actually updated now and again?

- Oh and I don't see the point of all these 'offshoot' websites for this that and everything else.

- Oh and can the 'maze' that is the O.S. be sorted out? It's like the bloody Krypton Factor trying to find anything on it.

Apart from the above it's great.

@ Monsoon - the tickets were sold through the Official site shop - for which you needed IS membership - yes they need to sort out whoever arranged all that for them . BUT as it was them who took my money - membership & ticket & booking fee - 'they' have the responsibilty to provide the service they sold.

...and yes - maybe he shouldn't have recorded the message, because there really was no other purpose for it than to get renewed memberships. I find the timing insulting and patronising. An obvious marketing ploy that uses Robbie as a puppet.

maybe a Happy Christmas message would have been better.

I don't doubt for a minute he is tired - he has had a hard year keeping us all happy

..... which is why I find it hard to believe he actually wanted to do the message in the first place.
