Quite a surprising song hit the charts this week as Let's Eat Grandma's Rosa Walton's solo song from the 2020 soundtrack to the video game 'Cyberpunk 2077' entered today at #68, following its use in the new animated series 'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners'. It's also credited to 'Hallie Coggins', who I believe is a character related to the show? I'm not sure as I've not seen/played it  she definitely isn't a real person though!

That being said, the song is really good. A bit of a grower for me though, and hopefully it can crack the Top 40 in the coming weeks (though I'm a little doubtful).

Yeah as I understand it Hallie Coggins is just the in-universe name of the 'character' who sings the song, it's the same for everything else on the soundtrack.

I will take this opportunity to once again plug this song by Grimes aka Lizzy Wizzy from the same soundtrack which went criminally overlooked at the time, I think this is better than quite a lot of her last album!

But yay for Rosa getting some singles chart success even if in a rather unexpected way lol ~ (although having said that I wasn't aware of this new animated series, I presumed this was just another random TikTok trend, makes a little more sense now).

bizarre crediting! it's like crediting Let it Go as Idina Menzel & Elsa :D

It’s not that uncommon for soundtracks! For example the songs on the first High School Musical soundtrack are credited to ‘Troy’ and ‘Gabriella Montez’ and the Don’t Worry Darling soundtrack credits ‘Alice and Jack’ instead of the lead two cast.
