I also thought that was weird that Olly was not on NMF at all - I remember the same happening with the last P!nk single with it not being added until later in the day on Friday for some reason, not sure how this happens!

Spotify isn't ageist as much as restricted to specific genres. David Guetta is 100 years old and always gets great playlisting just because his songs are easiest possible EDM.

 

It's different for dance acts who by and large don't show their face as much, so age doesn't really matter as much as it does with pop performers. Although by the same token, Sia being in her mid-40s and had a very successful run in the 2010s as nobody knew what she looked like.

I think it's fairly obvious at this point that Olly is past having any singles success. Would be surprised if it is top 200 on Spotify. His album might still do ok.

Id say zero chance of making the Spotify t200, with the song being #42 on NMF...
