October 24, 20222 yr Mixed feelings! Stuff I liked: Jody's best performance Tegan and Ace back and the interractions with The Doctor & Kate with Tegan telling it like it is (Tegan ALWAYS told it like it is) and The Doctor looking very embarrassed The Master The Doctor's cameos Yaz was great, esp the goodbye David Tennant back The end scene with a Help Group for Companions still left on Earth, esp Ian, I've only been waiting 58 years or so for that! (I loved Doctor Who from episode one, aged 5, and still have my What I Did At The Weekend schoolbook of obsession for Susan, Barbara and Ian :o  ) Frankly I'd love a mini series of ex-companions dealing with after-math, and some plot twisting to get others involved (Romana is a timelord in another dimension, peasy to get her back in a tardis picking up Leela, Zoe, Jamie and co) https://popchartfreak.files.wordpress.com/2...963-1964157.jpg Other stuff: Like the last season it was too manic, everything thrown in plus the iamspamspamamisink. Frankly the Cybermen and the daleks weren't needed, they were bit players in the Master's scheme and that screen time could have been used for more character stuff. The child/energy being thing, very Star Trek, also not needed. Dan getting the boot out of nowhere. Poor. Graham turning up in a volcano. Eh, what? No set-up, just a thing! Getting my science head on again: oh please, a new "moon" in 1916 would disrupt the Moon, the Earth and cause catastrophe in and of itself, pissing about with volcanoes would just not be needed. In fact it would instantly have changed history so everything would have needed to have been set in 1916. So set it in 2022! An excuse to play Rasputin could have been made anyway! Did I mention less manic please?
