We’ve predicted the U.K. opening sales & chart position so now let’s do it for the US.

I think the chart position is probably obvious but what about sales?

 

Just to remind you of first week sales:

 

Red (Taylor’s version): 605,000 album equivalent units in November 2021

 

Fearless (Taylor’s version): 291,000 album equivalent units in April 2021

 

Evermore TS9:

329,000 album equivalent units in December 2020

 

Folklore TS8:

846,000 album equivalent units in July 2020

Given what we know about the album and what’s happened so far, anyone have any US first week predictions??
It's insanely impressive she's managing to build on Lover/Folklore in this climate - I really thought matching those numbers would be a huge success but she's blown it out the water!

It is kinda unbelievable - don’t think anyone would have estimated these sales when she announced she was releasing a new studio album.

Who’d have thought I should have extended it to 1.1M 1.2M etc!

I’m more shocked about her UK sales tbh! I honestly thought she had lost her appeal here after Lover (even though Folklore/Evermore did ok by her standards)
