Step To Me is featured on ‘Spiceworld 25’ but was not included in the original UK release in 1997 🖤

 

The song was part of the Pepsi promotional campaign where fans would collect pink ring pull tabs in order to receive a free CD single

 

Fun fact - Step To Me was included on the Japanese edition of the ‘Spiceworld’ album in 1997 🇯🇵

Yes! Love this one. So glad we have it digitally and on vinyl/cd/streaming. Always loved the Istanbul version because I watched the concert so much but I did love their performance on TFI Friday.

There is no bad performance of Step to Me!

Step to me is classic Spiceworld to me. Love the new lyric video for it too. Was always nailed live I thought too. Step to me demo sounds much more Spice than Spiceworld to me though.

Missed Viva Forever, it is the ultimate timeless classic ballad. I hope for its 25th anniversary they go all out with fairy tshirts, a vinyl and a new annimated video. It absolutely deserves it.

That would be great, knowing them all it'll get is a social media post!

 

 

I feel like I've heard Step to Me more in 2022 than I have in any other year! :o I've played it quite a lot since it came onto streaming. I like it a lot, and their TFI Friday TV performance is one of their best, very electrifying!

This is definitely quite cheesy, kind of Backstreet Boys-esque, but served its purpose as a fun B Side!

I didn't own all of the singles back in the 90s *Bad fan I know* so when I bought my singles off Amazon which were 2nd hand I was amazed at some of the b-sides that I'd never heard properly.

 

Since streaming SW25 I am loving 'Outer Space Girls'. Not album track quality but up there with Take Me Home personally.

Outer space girls feels classic Spiceworld for me too as it is the only time they could have made a song about them taking over the galaxy not just the world and you feel if it was possible they would have. Cant ask for more from a bside.

Walk of life is so left field for them but somehow they made it work. Mel B making random noises is life changing haha. Victoria singing in that high pitch is a choice though. Again top notch bside though.
