Okay top 3 b-sides are Take Me Home, Walk of Life and Outer Space Girls.

I kind of wish they'd added this to the album because they pretty much covered so many genres and it was so diverse. But I do love a 10 track album.

Walk of Life - a bit of an unexpected reggae-esque vibe from them! Pretty cool. Emma sounds great in the chorus!

I wish this and Outer Space Girls were on the vinyl

It's interesting that an early promo version of the album suggested that Walk of Life was going to be on Spiceworld, but then they must have decided to remove it! Should it have remained on there?

Jupiter and Mars are ahead of me

Oh, are we trippin' out or is that heaven I see?

Oh, cyber DJ on our frequency

Imagine any other band have the balls to sing this and it be almost credible.

Track 14 - Step to Me - Demo Version

Step To Me as demo version for Spice album, did they slow it down ?
The Step to me demo screams Spice to me, more laid back and more RnB feel that would sit on Spice. The 7 inch mix screams Spiceworld being more beefed up and more in your face.
I love the demo more than the original :D Is that bad? :)

Yes lol

Agree with this.

Back to Step to Me already!

This demo version is from 1995, from the 'Spice' sessions! Was this song a missed opportunity for Spice, or is it for the best that it got to be a stand alone release for Pepsi and end up being associated with Spiceworld?

Interestingly this demo has a bit of a softer/slower/sensual vibe to it, vocally speaking, compared to the eventual harder-edged sounding version they released in 1997.

I’ve just realised the b-sides aren’t on the vinyl. What a waste of time vinyl 2 is!!!

It's such a missed opportunity :( I would have played the new vinyl a lot more if it had included them. I can't exactly see myself playing live tracks and remixes an awful lot... meh!

Track 15 - Too Much - Live in Toronto, Canada / 1998

  • Author

SHALL WE SING TOO MUCH?

 That was unexpected.

A big part of the Spiceworld era was without Geri and good they have a live song without her but the quality is shambles

The new live songs defo have a raw feel to them #oh Too Much is one of my least favourite spice girls songs and I always felt live it dragged things down a bit. They would never drop it from the set list but I wouldn't mind if they did.

The vocals in this live version if Too Much aren't bad at all everyone is doing a decent job. Probs cus no Geri #oh
