A long time associate of Four Tet and Hot Chip, the sounds and vignettes that make up this debut album have been accumulating on a smartphone in Hagop's pocket for almost 15 years – from isolated snippets of videos sent by friends to recordings of street musicians – it all comes together on Bolts in a vibrant mix of lo-fi techno and manipulated folk instruments that vividly speak to his Armenian heritage.

The album includes the singles:

GL/Raining

Round

Right to Riot

I was super impressed with this album. My rating 8.5/10. The Four Tet influence is quite apparent but still a really refreshing and absorbing listen. The field recordings and Armenian folk instruments make it special. My faves were Flame, Right to Riot, Jordan and Iceberg.

I absolutely love this album, I’ve had it on repeat for the past couple of weeks. There’s something about the production that makes it feel quite warm and enveloped? Gah I don’t know how to describe it
