Sophie has revealed a newsletter email that her 7th studio album will be out next year, and it has a release date of 30/06/2023.

 

An album of icy electro disco bangers would do very nicely.

Very excited by this.

 

I’m sure I read in her book last year she saw Wanderlust, Familia and her next album as a trilogy. So I’m sure it’ll be like those two. Which I’d be here for as Runaway Dream, Life Is A Camera and Wild Forever are amongst my favourite from her.

I'm hoping this will serve as the template tbh. I have enjoyed the MOR stuff but I think we've had more than enough of it now.

Very exciting news. She's also touring again next year in November and December with the "Christmas K!tchen Disco" tour!

Fair play to her for milking it, but the tour is just full of so many covers I don’t want to hear.
