77. Demi Lovato - WASTED

Release Date: August 19, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: DNC
Peak: 05 | Adam's Chart Run: 40-21-31-20-12-10-5-10-15- (9 weeks - still charting)

Demi Lovato returns with another track from their 2022 album HOLY FVCK. Demi is renowned for writing songs based on their troubled past and this track is no difference in speaking out on their battle with drug addiction. WASTED is one of my favourites from this album.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022:

76. Charli XCX - Beg For You (feat. Rina Sawayama)

Release Date: January 27, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: 24
Peak: 09 | Adam's Chart Run: 26-11-9-x (3 weeks)

I really enjoyed Beg For You when it was released, but it did age pretty quickly for me. The sample is very well done though.
Beg for You was my favourite Charli song of the year, I love it! Though, as I said in my own thread, I didn't actually know Cry for You beforehand so it just felt entirely new to me :kink:

Here are my favourites from your latest selection:

76. Charli XCX - Beg For You (feat. Rina Sawayama)

80. Justin Bieber - Anyone

81. Selena Gomez - The Heart Wants What It Wants

82. Clean Bandit - Everything But You (feat. A7S)

84. Jax Jones, Martin Solveig, GRACEY & Europa - Lonely Heart

75. SVN - Stars

Release Date: December 17, 2021 | UK Chart Peak: DNC
Peak: 06 | Adam's Chart Run: 17-8-6-12-31 (5 weeks)

The original cast members of London's Six regrouped last year and formed their girl band, SVN. They are such power house vocalists that the harmonies on this sound lush and this track is quite unique to what's out at the moment.

74. Nicki Minaj & Lil Baby - Do We Have A Problem?

Release Date: February 4, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: 31
Peak: 12 | Adam's Chart Run: 19-12-x-40-43-40-42-x (6 weeks)

Up next is Nicki Minaj's collaboration with Lil Baby on Do We Have A Problem? To be honest this has become quite forgetful. It's alright but it really is just a generic Nicki release these days. Thankfully she saved this era with Super Freaky Girl a few months later.

2021 EOY Chart Position: 23

At #73 we have a third consecutive year for 911. I am 100% sure this would have been number one for me if it hadn't been stopped by Rain On Me at the time. The chart run really does speak for itself, it's infectious! 911 is one of the most catchy songs I've heard for years and the video is visually stunning too. A shame the Chromatica era kind of ended in the UK as soon as Rain On Me happened, I blame Gaga's management

Release Date: November 19, 2021 | UK Chart Peak: 07
Peak: 24 | Adam's Chart Run: 35-24-41-46-x-36-x (5 weeks)

What a weird time in our charting lives when Encanto took over the official charts . The Family Madrigal was the opening track and it's enjoyable but I have no idea why I charted it, oop.
Hiya! Freaking Me Out, Bois Lie, Bang Bang, Rain On Me, When You’re Gone, Beg For You and 911 are my favourites so far. Looking forward to seeing the rest

Release Date: January 20, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: DNC
Peak: 07 | Adam's Chart Run: 30-8-7-x (3 weeks)

A fairly unrecognised entry here at #71 with London Is Lonely. I found this via New Music Friday on Spotify and I thought it was just lovely. Holly's soft voice and the gentle beat compliment each other so well. A perfect break up song.

70. Heathers the Musical - The Me Inside of Me

Release Date: March 1, 2019 | UK Chart Peak: DNC
Peak: 31 | Adam's Chart Run: 36-34-31-x (3 weeks)

Back to Heathers at #70. (I feel we may be in for the entire soundtrack in this countdown ). Over to The Me Inside of Me where Veronica must face the consequences of her choices. More of a spectacle to watch live than listen to via the soundtrack but still a pleasant track.

It is certainly...different!

Back for another year is the most recognised number from SIX the Musical, Don't Lose Ur Head. Anne Boleyn's quirky pop song takes us on a comedic journey of her life and struggles with King Henry.

Release Date: May 20, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: 88

Mabel is up next with Overthinking featuring 24kGoldn. I could probably do without 24k's verse tbh as I think he ruins the flow of the song a little. I love the vibe of this song and I relate veryyyyyy heavily to this song haha.

2020 EOY Chart Position: 16

Lady Gaga is back with Replay for the third year running, this time actually climbing compared to 2021. Replay is probably one of my fav's from Chromatica. I love it and the retro feel. I loved live performance of this aswell! It hasn't really got old for me and I enjoyed the remix version that was released too.

66. Adele - Oh My God

Release Date: November 19, 2021 | UK Chart Peak: 02
Peak: 06 | Adam's Chart Run: 24-13-8-6-8-14-8-6-22-22-32-37-30-x (13 weeks)

The second single from 30, Oh My God gives us a rare upbeat track from Adele. Probably my favourite from the album, but I haven't listened to it for months until just now but it sounds so fresh compared to her more sombre material. I just love Adele's personality and she really is just loving life in Vegas <3
