With songs like The sound of silence, The boxer, Bridge over troubled water,Cecilia and America. Their album Bridge over troubled water spent over 300 weeks on the UK chart. After they split up they had some solo success.

I liked Simon and Garfunkel as a duo, they gave us some great songs which have become classics. Liked a fair bit of Paul Simon's solo stuff, but can't say I've listened to much of Art Garfunkel on his own.

they did create some splendid, original pop in the 60's but i realy dont like their solo work.
