Show off. <_<

Btw- I remember some years ago listening to a Robbie concert broadcast on Radio 1 on a Sunday night just after the Top 40. I don't think it was ever on the telly. Was that the same Abbey Rd gig do you think?

Yes, it was on the radio but I've never heard it nor do I know the setlist. Well apart from what's on the new DVD that it ^_^

It will be brilliant to have it all :yahoo:

btw - since you have a DVD recorder, can you buy dvd's that are longer than 2 hours as most films these days are more thsn 2 hours. :(

he sings Heaven from here
Exactly Potty. That confused me as well. All the recordable DVDs seem to be 1 hour in length which is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. But apparently when you are recording you can opt for x2 or x3 or something which gives you double/triple recording time.

I guess it's back to the instructions book than. :(

I'm sure I'll figure it out onnce I take the time to read it <_<

On my DVD recorders you set how long you want. I have a standard choice of 1/2/4/8 hours (but 8 hours is virtually unwatchable). Can also set my own length (say 1.5 hours for a film).

2 hours is the default I think - for decent quality, though 4 hours is fine so long as not too many fast action scenes.

I tried to work my new digital camera last night. I gave up with that too. It's back in its box.

it all sounds very confusing to me, I have a dvd recorder with dics and hardrive, havent a clue how to work it or transfer stuff, just know the basic record button

Digital cameras seem just as confusing to me too

God - You all have got everything - I haven't even got Sky 2 so I have to wait up until 12.20 - I finf all this taping too much trouble - I love Heaven from Here - Does he sing Phoenix from the Flames - I Love that as well.

By the way Batchelors Walk is on RTE 2 at the moment - great show - for anyone interested in Eire.

I'm watching

btw - did you see the Irish comedy Gala from Monteal the other night. Tommy Tiernan truely is the funiest man on the planet

What? With the Batchelors who used to be big in the 70s?

Scotty - No did not see that but I knew it was on - Tommy Tiernan is very funny.

Jupiter9 - No - Batchelors Walk is a black comedy set in Dublin about a bunch of Guys who used to share a house in Dublin. The epoaide on now is a one off where they meet up again after a number of years.

The original show was intended as a filler for the Summer but became a huge hit - hilarious characters.

Thank God for that. I had visions of wooly jumpers and panpipes.
Gary Nuttall is on VH1 at the moment - he was in the band on stage a couple of months ago on the UK Hall of Fame. You can see him in particular in the last piece near the end of the programme.

Singing for the lonely...

so glad I stayed up to watch this

Yes - Its absolutely great live - love it - Robbie on guitar - lovely to see that on telly as most people would not be aware that he can play.
