This makes La Jumpa the final #1 of 2022. Meanwhile, SZA rises to #3 with Kill Bill, and Christmas songs make a climb up the chart. The Christmas takeover is slightly muted this year compared to previously, mainly due to the strength of non-Xmas hits. Nice to see "Welcome To My Island" stay at #1 for a second week, the christmas songs rising and the debuts for "LA FINE" and "Take Me Home". Great chart! Hey Sergej! Welcome to my island slaying your chart :cheer: much love for that! Anti-hero still going strong :wub: still being top 10 is great. I'll admit when Taylor first burst onto the scene I was more of a casual fan, her music didn't appeal to me too broadly but her biggest hits were always on my radar but since the 1989 album, I've fallen in love with her music. Taylor herself isnauch an interesting character and it's so good to watch her continuously improve herself. Under wath the tree underperforming here just as much as on my own chart. I've no idea what's happened with it this year for me but it is my favourite Christmas song. What a bop! Hey onto the surrender my heart train please. It's full steam ahead. I've had a similar experience with Taylor I guess, I only really became a proper fan after the reputation era but following folklore/evermore she's probably become my favourite artist! Underneath The Tree hasn't had a great chart run this year for me (interesting the same has happened with you!) but it's definitely a modern classic. January 1, 20232 yr Hey Ansel, Great to see Caroline Polachek smashing hard, pretty much blown away by “Welcome To My Island” <3 Hope you had a great Christmas, and Happy New Year! : ) - good to see Stars new Christmas one doing well.. the lyrics at the start remind me of Low's “Just Like Christmas” which is easily one of my favourite Christmas songs. I've just started getting in to the new Rose Gray single, sounds very 90s dance IMO.
