Well we didn't get an all-Belarusian final in the Women's but we have a Belarusian vs for all intents and purposes a Russian so that's an eye-opener for the tabloids there.

I'd go for Rybakina here. Sabalenka has shown herself to be a massive choker in the past. Fair play if she wins it though, would be a huge shock result I didn't see coming due to her previously patchy record at AO.

pity Rybakina-Azarenka wasn't the final, great game and Azarenka had her chances

rooting for Rybakina, not the biggest fan of Azarenka who play great but also can play shit, always in the same match

the semis have been pretty good today, I fear tomorrow will be very boring in men

Dan Evans says it does not matter if Great Britain have to win "ugly" in their challenging Davis Cup qualifying match against Colombia in Bogota.

Leon Smith's squad will have to contend with pressureless balls and an altitude of 2,566m as they attempt to secure a place in September's group stage.

"It's about getting the win here. It doesn't matter how, if it's pretty or ugly," said British number two Evans.

"Just get a point on the board and hopefully we can win."

Evans, Cameron Norrie, Jack Draper, Neal Skupski and Joe Salisbury have been selected for 10-time winners GB, who will take to the clay on Friday and Saturday at the Pueblo Viejo Country Club.

Russian and Belarusian athletes must be banned from this year's Wimbledon and the Paris Olympics while "innocent Ukrainians are still being killed", says Ukrainian player Elina Svitolina.

Bet she didn't care that other countries didn't ban them... why is Wimbledon specifically being held to this situation?

Cameron Norrie secured Great Britain's place in the Davis Cup Finals group stage, with his victory over Colombia's Nicolas Mejia giving the visitors an unassailable 3-1 lead in Bogota.

The British number one made it back-to-back straight-set wins at altitude on clay as he beat Mejia 6-4 6-4.

It meant Dan Evans was not required to play the final rubber against Nicolas Barrientos.

Cameron Norrie won the title in Rio, after back-to-back finals against Carlos Alcaraz. Sounds like Alcaraz was unable to move well by the end, but either way it's nice to see Norrie get a win rather than going 0-3 in finals this year.
