Martin crashed out!!!!!!!!

...and Bagnaia is able to secure maximum 25 points!

Most intense MotoGP race I've watched so far!

Yep, I don't think it ever happened before in the past. Feel sorry to all fans who bought the Sunday ticket as well.

Today's the strangest race I've seen this season. Martin led the entire 26 laps and his soft rear tyre literally said no. Some speculations then showed up that Martin would experience the same thing in Indonesia had he not crashed earlier, since he used the same mix.

Still, good day for Zarco and Di Giannantonio. We finally witnessed Zarco's backflip again since Moto2 Valencia 2016. He really had to overtake Martin, otherwise Bagnaia would win again. Diggia literally showed his talent after being kicked out by Marquez on a seat battle. Hoping he still gets a team next season. Repsol Honda would be fine, but he's no Pedrosa/Espargaro. Not sure if RNF Aprilia would let Oliveira go either.

Meanwhile in World Superbike, please welcome back Andrea Iannone. :o

Iannone would've had at least a ring had he not been found out using doping.

Looks like they chose the correct decision by putting the race yesterday. :o

Moto3 race is now underway in wet weather condition.

Alvaro Bautista becomes the 2023 WSBK Champion after winning Race 1 of Jerez yesterday. As planned earlier this year, he is racing in MotoGP Malaysia as a wildcard rider.

Jorge Martin is closing the gap from Bagnaia this weekend after winning both the sprint and the race, now by only 13 points.

Another great last 5 laps today, as I thought it would be an easy win for Binder after overtaking Martin.

  • 2 weeks later...

Pedro Acosta, racing for GasGas Tech3 KTM MotoGP next season, becomes the Moto2 World Champion.

Acosta surpasses Marc Marquez in being the youngest intermediate class champion, while it is a 3-peat for RedBull KTM Ajo Moto2 to have their riders winning the championship.

Feel sorry as well for Tony Arbolino who had to be involved in the leading group's incident, which caused his title chance to fade away.

Missed the Moto3 race where Wilhelmus was played on the podium. :o

With Enea Bastianini winning today, it's official that all 8 Ducati riders get at least a podium this season.

Bagnaia increases the lead from Martin as they are going to Qatar next week.

Guess I'm expecting too much on Bautista. His domination at WorldSBK doesn't translate to his performance at all in today's race and he almost got beaten by Lecuona (#13 in the WSBK standings). My expectation would be Bautista fighting for top 10, like Jonathan Rea did on a 2012 Repsol Honda bike when replacing Casey Stoner (iconic moment where he almost collided with Rossi on the final corner of Aragon).

That race really wasn't worth waking up early for in the end  stoked for Bas though after the season he's had.
It is revealed that Bautista sustained a left arm injury in Malaysia. Statistics said he's only 0.1–0.3 seconds slower on the right corners, but 3–3½ seconds slower on the left corners!

Only 7 points now between Martin and Pecco, meaning that the champion is decided at Ricardo Tormo!

VR46, please contact Diggia now. He deserves the seat there, as Marini is likely going to Repsol Honda.

After racing in Moto3 for six seasons and without any championship medals, Jaume Masia finally becomes the Moto3 World Champion. He is racing for Pertamina Mandalika SAG Racing Team Moto2 next year.

Martin looked so frustrated.

Come on Diggia, we need you in 2024.
