It's well established that Labour wanted to lock the country down harder and longer during Covid but how hard and how long? Possibly would have only allowed one household member out once or twice a week to gather groceries and I could have seen it last for three to six months. On the plus side we may have been spared a long and boring winter 2021 lockdown and over 100000 lives saved.

It isn't well established at all. Yes, Labour wanted earlier lockdowns (as did other opposition parties). We will never know whether an earlier start would have resulted in a shorter lockdown.

Yeah, I was going to say, is it well established?

 

Only real certainty we can say about a Corbyn-led government is that they wouldn't have wasted public money on bad contracts. Perhaps one could look at other big European countries for comparison. Likely that they'd have just followed the science, implemented and lifted it when the epidemiologists said that it was reasonable to.

If Corbyn was in power whatever he would have done would have been roasted by our horrific right wing press. A lot of resistance from within Labour though.

 

He did break a rule about the number of people allowed to socialise so probably wouldn't have been the best either.
