Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This

The X Factor has yet again been the biggest TV story this year with viewing figures of over 10m every week. The contestants and judges have dominated our airwaves over the past few months with some of the UK's (and the World's!) brightest characters and biggest voices. 'A Moment Like This', a cover of Kelly Clarkson’s American Idol smash, is a fantastic offering for X Factor fans and makes a perfect Christmas stocking filler gift for all. Leona enters the chart at a superb number 4 this week, making her one of only a few artists ever to have a new entry go straight into top 10, and breaking Christina Aguilera's number 9 entry with Ain't No Other Man - go Leona!

Gwen Stefani - Wind It Up

Back with the most daring, edgiest single of 2006 is Gwen Stefani, along with help from her friends The Neptunes. Featuring the rather unconventional sampling of 'The Sound Of Music', 'Wind It Up' is the brand new single from her dazzling new solo album 'The Sweet Escape'.

Girls Aloud - I Think We’re Alone Now

It wouldn't be Christmas without a party anthem from Girls Aloud, and this year we have their own unique take on the 80's classic 'I Think We're Alone Now', originally recorded by Tiffany. Taken from the girls' chart-topping 'Greatest Hits' album and released as the lead single for the forthcoming film 'It's A Boy Girl Thing', the track has been re-recorded with added synths and a formidable chunk of the unrelenting energy that helped score the girls a hit with 'Something Kinda Ooooh'.

Nelly Furtado - All Good Things (Come To An End)

So Nelly Furtado manages to hold on to the number 1 spot for the fourth week in a row! She becomes the first ever BuzzJack Christmas number 1, and we can expect big things from her in 2007 with the release of her follow up single, Say It Right.
