BARB has finally updated for the first time since mid-December and thrown up a very interesting rating from Netflix!

Glass Onion on Netflix was watched by 6.74m on the week of 19-25 Dec and then 5.21m on the week of 26 Dec-1 Jan. A total average of 11.95m across the two reporting weeks :o

The highest rating of 2023 so far goes to episode 3 of Happy Valley with 8.78m viewers.

I’ve not kept up with ratings for a long time (the lack of availability of the overnights was the start of me losing interest) but I did expect Happy Valley to be higher. Obviously they are still good for this day and age but I thought it might still have been capable of reaching 10m like the other two series did.

Mind you, I think I did see one overnight rating was about 5m so it’s adding 3-4m which is really good.

I feel like Happy Valley could reach 10m for the final episode based on its growth so far. It has added nearly 1m between episode 1 and 3 so seems possible. Annoying that we don't get the 28-day ratings anymore - it could very well be that each episode comfortably passes 10m on 28 day data!

The overnights are in and the move to Saturday night for the Brits has worked. 3.3m, up on 2.7m last year. Not back to pre-pandemic levels (3.8m in 2020). Mind you, as many people watched Celebrity Catchphrase featuring Bradley Walsh and Sally Dynevor at 18:00

It started with a high of 3.8m and finished with 2.8m

Colin also reports that TMS got 4.6m with a peak of 5.1m

Liam Hamilton says 4.8m for The Masked Singer final. A series high, and the highest rating of the night.
Is it iplayer that makes EE ratings so low vs all other shows ans purs Hollyoaks within ratings distance?

RATINGS: 3.29 million for the #DancingOnIce Final last night, the least watched final ever.

#LoveIsland was seen by just 870k viewers. Will it even reach a million for the final? 3 million people tuned in live to see Ekin-Su and Davide win last summer..

Clash with #ITAENG football on C4 - 3.7m average for 3 hour coverage, nearer 5m for match itself - rather takes the shine of the final of #TheApprentice opposite on BBC1 which finished on 3.9m, down a million from last year, though still the biggest (non-news) audience of the day
