Just landed on Netflix this week having aired on BBC Three in the summer last year. Red Rose is a horror drama serries by Paul and Michael Clarkson about a mysterious and sinister app that claims lives.

The show absolutely passed me by at the time but I've just watched it all this weekend and it had me gripped! The first episode is a bit ropey but stick with it (trust me!) it draws you in with a lot of wtf moments.

Stars Amelia Clarkson, Natalie Blair, Ellis Howard, Ali Khan, Ashna Rabheru, Harry Redding, Natalie Gavin, Adam Nagaitis with Isis Hainsworth and Samuel Anderson.

100% from the critics on Rotten Tomatoes

I've watched the first three episodes from this and I'm impressed so far, seems a really creepy setup they do a good job developing the teens so they're not as irritating as actors of that age usually are (especially good as Bolton accents usually make me scream enough anyway :kink: Southerner problems x). I also like that it handles social media and smartphone obsession in a way that feels genuine and isn't patronising. I did kind of see the rug pull moment in episode 2 coming but it was still effectively done.
