Posted March 5, 20232 yr Jisoo is finally releasing her solo debut on 31st March (according to her Instagram story)! Edited March 10, 20232 yr by Cameron
March 8, 20232 yr It's going to be called 'Me'. This is easily the most excited I've been about a song for a while. Jisoo has always been my favourite member and it feels like we've waited so long for this! @1633482834680901633
March 9, 20232 yr That's also always been my question. I don't see the point in releasing (internationally) what is hardly a single or a double a-side and market it/call it a name that (internationally) is not its name nor makes any sense at all. It would be clearer if the copy in English said 'debut solo single' or 'debut 2-track EP', cause a 'single album' is not a thing.
March 9, 20232 yr In the K-pop industry, a “single album” implies that physical copies of the album will materialize, which helps influence a good chunk of their domestic + fanbase-driven international sales. There are less songs available on the track list but it still gets the same package treatment as a mini or full album would (including posters, photo cards, etc.). It’s uncommon in Western markets especially after the downloads era which is why we don’t see them often with other artists, but it has been commonplace in K-pop for a good chunk of its modern history.
March 27, 20232 yr Title track is called “Flower” with the other B-side being “All Eyes On Me” How much you wanna bet we’ll get music videos for both?
March 31, 20232 yr "FLOWER" Official MV YudHcBIxlYw I like how they dropped the gratuitous English phrases and just let Jisoo show off her elegance
March 31, 20232 yr This style suits her so well. She looks stunning in the MV. All Eyes On Me is also a gem
