I was curious to see what people's thoughts were on this matter..I was thinking about a few last night that I love which are overlooked in my opinion. Here's my list. :)

6. Ebudae (this should be first, but I'm not going in any particular order)

Overrated..I would say these.

 

1. The Magic of the Night

2. The Memory of Trees

3. China Roses

 

If I think of anymore, I'll post them. ;)

Why 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas'. I don't find that attractive.

I think many of the none english ones are going to be under-rated because they are not to easy to promote to an english audience.

 

My under-rated tracks would be 'On my way home' and 'Once you had Gold'.

I'm sure there are many other also, in fact Enya is a very under-rated artists entirely!

 

And as for over-rated, I must agree with you about 'The Memory of Trees' simply because it's the name of the album gives it attention.

I said We Wish You A Merry Christmas because Enya took it and made it her own..I've always hated that song until I heard her version. :)

Ooh I once thought of a load of songs that were underrated. I'll think properly later. :D

I say China Roses is overrated too. I like it, but it's nothing compared with Athair Ar Neamh, or On My Way Home.

Lazy Days. I never hear anyone say anything about Lazy Days, but it's one of my favourites from ADWR. It's a perfect ending track. It sounds like the end of a warm, sunny day. :wub:

Less Than a Pearl is also underated. I think it's a great first track.

Oh, I forgot about those..good choices, Grace. :) I say another is Someone Said Goodbye..a lot say it's "too poppish", but I really like it and I also think the lyrics have meaning behind them..they aren't corny to me. :)

Morning Glory is HIGHLY underrated. I never hear that song mentioned at all.

I just hate the title of that song. :( It has other connotations as well. :heehee: It's an ok song, not one of my faves.

I tend to think that Afer Ventus is somewhat under-rated.....
