Great to see Art School Girlfriend at number 1- and also debuting with the equally amazing “Close To The Clouds” <3

Hopefully will do big things in the BJSC this month!

 

Elsewhere a fantastic debut for Sofia Kourtesis and really good to see Polinski in the Top 10 (very Aphex Twin-esque atmosphere to that) and Yves Tumor making your Top 20. I really adore everything that has been released from the album and “Echolalia” is no exception - everything they release ends up massively growing on me, that sampled 80s bassline is so addictive and mind-meltingly catchy.

 

Haven't been massively in to the new Calvin Harris single unfortunately, just something missing from it for me like he hasn't fully committed to it - but good regardless to see some trance/eurotrance adjacent music back in the chart and doing well commercially. Hopefully it is the start of a trance revival, though obv would prefer it if TDJ was leading it...

Welcome To My Island is benefiting from me playing both it and the genius Charli XCX Remix at the moment. Loving Blood and Butter (and the whole album in fact), I could see it sneaking top 10 on a quiet week still, who knows. Borderline still has steam left in the tank to climb more.

Thank-you for remembering - means a lot :heart: there were some delays because of blood tests so my mum only got admitted today, operation is tomorrow. Then 3 weeks of radiotherapy every day which I've had to put in my annual leave for. Having some wine now to calm the nerves.

 

Really loving both Art School Girlfriend and Yves Tumor recent releases, and Polinski, all of whom I've been giving a chance thanks to hype on your chart. Agreed actually on Calvin, I haven't been going back to it as much as I hope but it's still good by mainstream standards. Queen TDJ was way ahead of the trance revival curve.
