Yay for Midsommar continuing to climb *.* I didn't find the other tracks from his EP as impressive but giving Last Dance a relisten now and it's sounding better than when I first heard it. I'm liking the 80s style, progression and production switch-up of it. :cheer: @ Caroline entering with Fly To You. Have you heard her masterpiece album is full? Have a great Easter weekend x
April 7, 20232 yr Hey Jim! Miracle not white getting any higher oops. I had hoped the two weeks at #1 would lead on to something better but it's all good. Hopefully it can have along run here. Hypnotized is my favourite song that Sophie Ellis-Bextor has ever released I think. it's grand. Never be mine is a beautiful song. Hopefully it can be a smash here. Over with its third week at #16. Seems quite unusual but who am I to judge. It's a great song as well. I can't wait to hear what they release next and the inevitable album that's due. Ceilings is gorgeous. I'm glad it see it repeak and hopefully with it's decent performance so far, it'll pew nice and high in the weeks to come. Fab chart ^_^

Yes I did listen to Caroline's album in full soon after it came out - good songs throughout and I knew the singles quite well, but there wasn't one where I thought that's the absolute highlight, until recently when I gave Fly To You another play, and still had the tune in my head a few days later - so here it is! Miracle will be sticking around for a while - awesome that it's now #1 officially! Who knew Sophie might outdo Murder On The Dancefloor over two decades on, but I agree I think she has! Hypnotized is brilliant. Over is my favourite song from CHVRCHES in many years - maybe I just need to hear it blaring out on the radio somewhere to push it higher. 'ceilings' really is - I said there were some days it doesn't hit me and others when it does, and this week I had one of the latter, especially on the second verse. Thanks, have a great Easter ^_^
