Yay excellent news. And she's collaborating with John Parish and Flood. I thought her last album 'Hope Six Demolition Project' was OK but not worth the huge wait and my least favourite of her albums. So hope this is a return to form. Hope it's very challenging but in a good way!

Absolute banger - can't wait till the Ice Spice remix is out and it starts a Tik Tok dance craze before it crashes Spotify. :music:

In all seriousness, very uncommercial lead, even by her standards. Possibly only 'When Under Ether' from 'White Chalk' was less instant. That said sounds atmospheric and probably fit in well in context of album. Let's hope she still has it after all these years off.

Really don't like it much sadly :/

Next single, title track from 'I Inside the Old I Dying' out

A lot better than 'A Child's Question, August' IMO, quite beautiful, even if not very commercial again.

And there's a UK/European tour coming this Autumn. I've only ever seen her once during the Stories era so will def go and see her as she's generally rated excellent live! Tickets on general sale on the 16th June.

Listening to it now and seems a big improvement on 'The Hope Six Demolition Project' . Downbeat but fascinating folk music. Needs many more listens though.

Have to go all the way to Glasgow to see her as the London gigs sold out in seconds and she never does extra dates due to public demand.
