Posted December 29, 200619 yr I haven't read it in its entirety yet and I still only have the second edition (the one in the Amarantine Deluxe Edition), but from what I've read, it sounds beautiful. One of the poems made me tear up last night..but silly me, I can't even remember the name. :P Edited December 29, 200619 yr by On Your Shore
December 29, 200619 yr I had it on order on HMV.co.uk a while ago but it never got shipped so I cancelled it. :arrr: Same happened with the Deluxe Edition of Amarantine! So I still haven't read it.
December 29, 200619 yr I love it. I didn't think I would, but I do. The poetry is beautiful, and the story is very interesting. It's almost like one big riddle or parable. B)
December 30, 200619 yr  Seriously though, I've wondered about that myself. I'll have to look and see what it has to say about winter and narcissus. ^_^
December 30, 200619 yr Author I've often wondered if the book had the riddles in it myself..I just got the first edition yesterday, I was surprised to see that Amazon UK shipped it out so quickly, only about a month's wait..I read some of the poetry last night..I love it.. I just wish I had more time to go further in-depth with the reading..ah, if not this week, maybe next.
January 1, 200719 yr Well, I have both editions, but haven't read much of them, but from what I have read, I really enjoy them. I really like the poem "The Way Obsidian Sings", from the second edition. Â Oh, and btw, David, I have an 2 extra copies of the Deluxe Edition on hand, if you're still looking for a copy...
January 1, 200719 yr Thanks. ^_^ But I'm not really that bothered about getting it anymore tbh, I need to save my money atm for when I go to New York! :D
January 1, 200719 yr I didn't say you had to pay for the copy of the Box Set, I was going to make it a gift to you, but since you're not interested any longer, I won't bother you with it, then. <_<
January 1, 200719 yr I didn't say you had to pay for the copy of the Box Set, I was going to make it a gift to you, but since you're not interested any longer, I won't bother you with it, then. <_< There's no need to be like that, I just assumed you wanted me to pay for it. And I could never accept a gift worth Ă‚Â£30 from someone off the internet! :o I'd feel terrible.
February 11, 200818 yr Author I still have to finish both editions. :o I've been reading on and off very sporadically.
February 13, 200818 yr I usually lose interest in these sorts of books tbh, so I probably won't bother. :(
February 14, 200818 yr I dunno, just not very into books tbh! Fiction books are alright, but something a bit more "natural" like 'Water Shows the Hidden Heart' wouldn't really interest me I feel. :(
February 18, 200818 yr Oh is a lot of it poetry? I thought it was just a book on how she invented Loxian.
