Following 2021's fabulous 'Coral Island', The Coral are back with new single 'Wild Bird' later today! Presumably it's the start of a rollout for their eleventh studio album.

The album, Sea Of Mirrors is released 8th September but they are also planning on another album this year, Holy Joe’s Coral Island Medicine Show

Here it is! Interesting to hear that they're going for a bit of a Western sound on this album.

Yeh this is really random but I really like the sound of it.

It wasn’t massively instant on me, but it’s grown.

B-side ‘It Was Only Love’ also released the other day:

Drifter's Prayer from Holy Joe’s Coral Island Medicine Show was released on Wednesday

That's Where She Belongs was released on Wednesday

The new one is definitely my favourite of the releases so far!

Love the 60S vibes!

The new one kept reminding me of a song but I couldn’t quite place my finger on it…

It’s ‘Babies’ by Pulp!

Another track from Holy Joe’s Coral Island Medicine Show has been released. Like this one a lot.

It’s a shame that the Holy Joe album is physical only for now, hopefully it finds its way onto streaming eventually.

It's at #3 in the charts today! Very good indeed.
