At risk of coming under fire, this is the only musical I completely don't get! I mean ... I get it in terms of plot and that it's "quirky", but it just never impressed me :(

But, I know loads of people who adore it and have seen it live numerous times, so clearly it is genius and I'm just missing something

well i suppose Happy Feet on the other hand is a lot easier to grasp.

now i hope there's an on-stage versh, good to think and wonder which Zelebrities are gonna dress up as Pingus??

^ prince done the soundtrack for happy feet

only one song. plus cover of kiss, rest is pingu and mumbles doing queen among other stuff.

I've seen the actual DVD a few times, and I went to see the live show at the Theatre Royal, it was one of the best performances I have ever seen, every single person was amazing in it, the singing was perfect, the dancing was perfect. They got a standing ovation. Utterly excellent.

could you throw stuff or was that banned for health and safety???

Hard to believe Richard O'Brien (Crystal Maze) wrote and sang most of the songs.

but isnt that what Richard O'Brien is famous for???

btw do you watch the Crystal Maze on ftn? they're showing that now instead of the Fort Boyard versh of the show now.

Well, I thought Crystal Maze would've been what he was known for most.

I sometimes watch it on Challenge. What's ftn? Is it a channel on sky?

And what do you mean the Fort Boyard version? Do you mean the ones with Ed Tudor Pole?
