Well, I thought Crystal Maze would've been what he was known for most.

I sometimes watch it on Challenge. What's ftn? Is it a channel on sky?

And what do you mean the Fort Boyard version? Do you mean the ones with Ed Tudor Pole?

FTN is flextech's channel on freeview and they show all the old stuff from their Bravo, Challenge etc etc channels.

Fort Boyard is a French format that like most popular quiz and game formats they sell around the world (see millions of versh of ugly betty).

the British versh was gonna be filmed at Fort Boyard but the French peeps didnt get the building ready in time so it ended up being made into the Crystal Maze in a studio bases environment.

Later the show's format re-appeared in the original guise on British TV with the original name of Fort Boyard, as it was now being filmed at Fort Boyard (which is an actual place)

could you throw stuff or was that banned for health and safety???

Banned for health and safety, I had my newspaper, torch, rice, everything. :(

Everytime they said the name "Janet" the crowd responded with "$l*t!" and everytime they said the name "Brad" everyone shouted "bast*rd!". Which admittedly is fairly typical of a Newcastle crowd, it made it all the more enjoyable though. :D We met the bloke who played Derick in Eastenders (can't think of his real name) he was the narrator, and he tried to leave through the back door very inconspicuously, wearing a hat and glasses, but me and a friend recognised him and thanked him for an excellent show and talked to him for abit, we shook his hand etc, lovely man.
