If so, that doesn't really sound all that viable :( It's conclusive that the search causes sudden spikes in memory requirement, which either causes a slow down or a worse - no reponse at all. The solution is to upgrade the memory on the server. This is happening. I was thinking it was going to happen earlier this week, but for reason I don't really understand has not been complete yet.
February 6, 200718 yr how sexy that this is back :wub: Memory on server was upgraded earlier this morning. Was going to test it later before an annoucement was made, but rather busy here. Anyway, as you see the search is currently on. :D

May 22, 200718 yr That's why search is better! The 1000 limit result is what helps to keep things fast. If we would add the show all posts option it would search over 1 million posts just to find a users posts. Something like this is a real killer :)
