Posted August 21, 20231 yr There is some discussion around this on other artist forums but I think Gaga is kind of frontrunner of iconic song intros.. What's your favourite and why? August 21, 20231 yr In a way I kinda think of 'Bad Romance' as having two intros, depending on when I hear it out and about it'll either be "woooaaaoooohhh" or "rah rah ah ah ah"
August 21, 20231 yr Poker Face I'd say! Bad Romance is perhaps second but also the start to Just Dance is iconic too. My personal favourite because it sends me straight back to The Monster Ball is Dance in the Dark though :wub:
August 22, 20231 yr Bad Romance kind of has three. The music video intro, the “ra ra” and the “ohhh” all noticeable! I feel like it’s between that and Poker Face for the GP but Just Dance also has an iconic and noticeable intro and more recently Shallows intro will be very noticeable and I’d say iconic as well (even if she doesn’t sing the opening line it’s still something we all know, a modern day classic).
August 22, 20231 yr Poker Face for sure, and I agree about Bad Romance basically having two intros! Ma ma ma muuuh is just so iconic, and it just about beats out the Bad Romance intros.
