I have the album, and I would reccomend it as well.

lol

It's a very happy album which I like. so combined with sunshine it's fantastic..

Not saying that it's a bit superficial

not at all

it's great

:)

and they're great live

yes the album is great. plus its about £6 at hmv (if you miss the sale this time dont worry there will be one in about 2 weeks , they are as bad as buses).

however must say i do think katie melua is pretty, $h!t songs, if only things could have worked out differently!!!

Yeah the album is good Nicky.

Defitnley a grower though but it has some great tracks on it.

Naive is the best though on the album but not by a long way.

Weirdly enough for me I actually like The Kooks :o
Meh I don't really like them. 'You Don't Love Me' was a passable tune but all the rest are just the same old generic indie crap that seems to be being churned out far too often these days.

'Naive' is excellent, I'm addicted to it. I had the pleasure of seeing The Kooks during the Levi's Ones To Watch tour last December. I went for Editors, but being introduced to The Kooks and Kubichek! made it an absolutely fabulous night. Still haven't bought the album yet but my boyfriend has it, and loves it.

xXx

I think the album is a big grower. I bought it about 4 weeks ago and within 2 days I really didn't like it but then the album suddenly grew on me and people who haven't bought it already I would reccomend them to buy it if they like Naive.

I pretty much agree, they're the prime definition of indie by numbers, but 'You Don't Love Me' is my favourite too. When I gave the album a listen, there was a track on there I liked called 'Ooh La'. And I don't get the current fascination with 'Naive' either...

Now would be a good time, as it's reduced in HMV.

Well maybe I will get it then ^_^ I'll probably download another song by them first though. ;)

I saw them supporting the Subways. They weren't anything special then, and they sure aren't anything special now.

I love Naive but the other tracks Ive heard arent great.

Thats exactly what I though at first. The album is a grower as on the first couple of listens I thought that some tracks were good but some were pretty rubbish, but now the album has really grown on me.

I like Naive, but don't know whether or not to get their album?

I like niave but I dont think I'll be buying the album.

I have a thing with indie artists - they have about one good song for me and the rest are just boring :(
