Posted September 10, 20231 yr 'DJ, Play a Christmas Song!' is set to be the lead single from Cher's upcoming Christmas album. :cheer:
September 11, 20231 yr Well it would be great if Cher releases an original Christmas album rather than the usual ones which include the same dreary covers. Fingers crossed. This looks promising.

October 3, 20231 yr Sounds like it might be a "so bad it's good" kind of bop! ^^perfect description. Edited October 3, 20231 yr by pippa
October 4, 20231 yr Only Cher stans. But then again, it's not unusual for people to release the lead single from a Christmas album in late October.
October 4, 20231 yr If anything it's the most common time for a lead Christmas single to release! You've got to make people aware with enough time for pre-orders to rack up.
October 4, 20231 yr I’ll give it one listen in October then will be waiting until 1st December when it will blare out of my speakers!
October 4, 20231 yr Author As it's a disco 🪩 (Christmas) song, I can see myself playing it all year long. :music:
October 5, 20231 yr I guess most Xmas albums have a slightly less obvious Xmas song to release as the October release and then the Xmas single in late November!
October 5, 20231 yr Author You can now listen to a long preview of the studio version of DJPACS here: https://music.apple.com/nz/album/christmas/1707634090 It's a smash!
October 5, 20231 yr Author Wow, wow, wow! *.* Now THAT'S how you do a disco Christmas song. The chorus is so euphoric. It has the classic Believe sound. The bridge is reminiscent of the one from TMNGWY. And that key change in the last chorus? Amazing! I have it stuck in my head already. It could definitely work as a non-holiday song, too. Nothing more, nothing less I got one request DJ, play a Christmas song! I wanna be dancing all night long It's cold outside, but it's warm in here And that's the only thing I want this year TR-qR7x7tms
October 6, 20231 yr I love it. It's only tangentially a Christmas song, but that's about what I expected.
