I do not have the chart run for Open Road album in Japan and Australia (top 100)

Also I do not have the USA chart run for adult contemporary chart.

Any help is welcome!

Is it possible to get total worldwide sales figures for Gary?

I know he has sold over a million albums in the U.K. now.

 

In My Take he says that both Forever Love the single and Open Road the album sold 2 million copies, which seems

so unlikely given their U.K. certifications and lack of certification anywhere else.

It is difficult to have worldiwide sales figures.

A million copies of Open Road can be more realistic and maybe 500/700,000 copies for Forever Love.

When I read those claims in the book I thought they couldn’t possibly be accurate, because the claimed sales figure for Angels worldwide was 1.2 million.

If Forever Love had sold more than that worldwide it would surely have left more of a mark on public consciousness than it did?

 

I know worldwide sales are notoriously difficult to track accurately though!

 

 

They all did amazingly well in Spain upon launching solo careers. Gary's first two singles went to #1, as did Robbie's. Mark also had a number one with debut, 'Child' there, and the highest peaking/selling debut album of the three in Spain. (3 and Platinum - Gary's was a 5 peak and Robbie 37)
